    HOME MADE YOGHURT CHEESE (Labne)

     

     

    Ingredients

    • 2 Cups Greek Style Plain yoghurt
    • 1 Tsp of quality unrefined salt

    Method

    Combine together – no lumps. Pour into a bowl lined with muslin/cheese cloth. Bring the corners together and tie off with string or rubber band. Hook or tie onto a dowel or long handled wooden spoon with a bowl underneath to catch the liquid whey that will drip out overnight.

    To keep for longer, cover with olive oil in a sealed container. Top and flavour to your liking i.e. fresh herbs, nuts, Gen 1:29 Superseed blend, Smokey Paprika etc….
